Dear 8th Grade Parents/Guardians,
Each year, starting in 8th grade, school counselors meet with each student and their parents/guardians to discuss high school graduation requirements, test scores, grades, and your student’s plan for college and career readiness (PCCR). This is a very important meeting for you and your student to attend. I have received a lot of feedback from parents/guardians as to how helpful these meetings are each year in assisting their students in their post-high school plans and in their current performance in school.
8th Grade Plan for College and Career Readiness meetings have begun. Please sign up for a time most convenient for you on the dates and times listed. If you do not see a time that works well for you or your family, please feel free to email me at buttonn@kane.k12.ut.us so we can arrange a different date/time.
