Dear 7th and 8th Grade KMS Parents/Guardians,
We’re excited to announce a field trip to St. George for our 7th and 8th grade students on Tuesday, May 20!
To participate, students must have two required forms completed:
- KMS Permission Slip – Found here. Please print, sign, and return it to the front office.
- Utah Tech Swimming Pool Waiver – This must be completed online for students to swim at the Utah Tech pool.

- Choose “Event and Activity Participation Waiver” as the waiver type
- Activity: Swimming
- Activity Location: Utah Tech Swimming Pool
- Enter glovert@kane.k12.ut.us under “Email Address for others that should receive a copy of this waiver”

Please complete both forms as soon as possible. Students without completed forms will not be able to attend.
Instructions from the Utah Tech Pool are as follows:
For swim wear we just ask that they don’t swim in jeans or cut off pants that have a frayed edge. Other than that, we just ask that it provides complete and adequate coverage where needed.
When they arrive, they will use the visitor locker rooms. That way they are separate from the patron lockers that the daily patrons use.
Basic pool rules all apply. We don’t have any life jackets so if they want one, they should bring their own. We do have like pool noodles and some other things they are welcome to play with.
The lifeguards are king. What they say goes.
